Honestly I’m fine with Boba Fett being a chump. I could never understand why he had such a following. Well, aside from the jetpack, of course. Jetpacks are always cool. Other than that he’s a guy that wisely played a hunch by staying behind when the Imperial fleet went to hyperspace in ESB and... that’s it.

Characters from the new canon comics are just as obscure to mainstream audiences as characters from the old EU ones.

Man, I was just surfing the web waiting for my friend to show up to watch tonight’s episode, and I stumbled upon a headline that ruined Black Krrsantan’s appearance. I was 5 minutes from watching the episode! And I’m exactly the sort of dork who would have plotzed if Black Krrsantan had been a true surprise!

At this point, I assume that at some point in every episode, some character will say to Fett, “I’m sorry, we didn’t see your litter. . .”

Black Krrsantan has me very excited for live action Aphra.

Arcane was a pleasant surprise for sure. Not just a show about a game, but a game that I don’t even like... but one of my favorite bits of TV of the year.

Also got turned on to Owl House before season 2 hit, and it is an utter delight. It’s a shame that it’s apparently ending at only 3 seasons when it’s charming enough to go for at least two more. 

Owl House, my five year old wanted to watch it and I was unsure and now it’s one of our favorite shows. It’s delightful and weird and we love it lol

Midnight Mass - way better than what I expected. The fact that it was only 7 episodes long was perfect. A couple more episodes would have unnecessarily lengthen the story.

I don’t think they really were quite going for that look, because they didn’t use the kind of shader or textures you’d use for that. I think they were going for a weird hybrid look inspired by social media stuff.

The Mitchells vs The Machines wasn’t perfect but it was drastically more fun and engaging that Raya. Charming and loose and feeling somewhat original. Raya was... fine. It’s not going to blow any minds. It’s not bad - it has some great animation and good moments but it’s not up to the general Disney princess movie…
