More importantly than what he does in the plot, Threepio is the only character allowed to break the fourth wall and address the audience directly. Almost as if all these stories are one’s that he’s relating after the fact. Ep.IX should have an epilogue where an immensely-old and barely-functioning C-3P0 is wrapping up

“Adequately rakish” is an extremely generous description of Modine’s work in the film.

“real movie”

If we’d just stop giving them money to see their live-action remakes of perfectly good animation, maybe they’d stop doing it.

I mean, it went so well the last time.

Or even better, a Kate Jackson/Jaclyn Smith/Cheryl Ladd cameo.

I’m further amazed no one’s made one up for him. It’s not like they can see a glimpse of a piece of prop equipment in the background and not make up a designation for it.

(never mind the fact that the empire can’t handle people with only one name? NFN Han doesn’t cut it? What does Bossk do with the empire HR department to get his bounty checks issued?)

I’m glad cooler heads prevailed and Bossk was dropped. Not only were there more than enough tie-ins already, the ESB bounty hunters do not need some kind of personal backstory with Han to justify their later appearance. They’re guys who find and kill people for money: end of deep character arc.

If you work on acquiring new properties to develop for a movie or TV studio and you haven’t already made a pitch to Ms. Wells for rights to Murderbot, it’s possible that you are bad at your job.

American McGee’s Todd MacFarlane’s Spawn

You really enjoyed playing TIE Fighter, I guess.

It’s like sculpting.

It worked really well in Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous) too, so there’s certainly promise.

Yeah! Let’s see some

The primary difference between the two being Picard already had a personality, and before TLJ, Luke didn’t.

Freely granted. But it’s supposed to make me want to watch the movie, not warn me off.

I had a different reaction to the first teaser. I immediately thought, “This movie has no reason to exist.” The full trailer has not changed this assessment.

Upside, Bo Katan and Fenn Rau could be played by their voice actors from Clone Wars.
