I was super excited for this movie right up until the trailer came out.
Of all the crazy fan theories, I did not expect Pink’s ass ship to be the one that we’d see happening.
But she does definitely seem to be operating her by remote control.
Vader, being a dad, is allowed a few dad jokes.
I bounced off hard from the first few episodes of Steven Universe, decided it wasn’t for me, then had to listen to all these people I knew raving about it. I sat down to give it another try (with my wife, who was even less amused than I was, in the room doing other things). 10 episodes in and I couldn’t turn it off.…
It’s a really well-made film, and a very good get with Fillion, but the Uncharteds are already essentially films already. They’re linear plot storytelling specifically engineered to be like an action movie. What would make them being on the big screen better or even really different?

I was waiting for it to happen before the credits, during the reprise of “C’mon get happy.” I think they took the easy way out.
The Tales books encapsulated the worst traits of the EU and were exactly the kind of deadwood that needed jettisoning.
It’s a very well-made sequence, and all, but—”epic battle” doesn’t seem like a very Steven Universe way of how things go.
The Big Question: did Mystery Men fail badly enough that we’ll never see Flaming Carrot on a big or small screen?
