I gave up on AC games after number 3. I wanted the modern story to push further and that was abandoned by the wayside. The rest was bringing in gimmicky shite imo.

Considering I commented about Micro Machines V3 in the other small world article, I am very very tempted to pick this up. I spent hours playing V3. I’m just hoping this one keeps the charm and the arcadey gameplay.

I never got the FIFA comp scene. The game seems so buggy, and exploitable, that comp play must be infuriating. I stopped buying the series in 2009, but everytime I’ve played at a friend’s I’ve stopped after one game because of egregious AI bullshit.

Insofar that people are creating shovelware to game the card market system and make money for themselves. This shovelware is starting to creep into the public eye and steam’s recommend algorithms are accidentally making it look like a good purchase.

Picked the game up today and I am getting my ass kicked on Normal. By tedious combat, you could have warned me that it’s clunky as hell. Every enemy I’ve encountered can run rings around me, while Morgan couldn’t hit water if she fell out of a boat.

I periodically remember to check themes and can never normally bring myself to buy the premium ones, considering there’s so many great free ones for games I like (Witcher 3 themes anyone?). I did buy a Persona 5 one the other day though, and the BGM is worth the cost of entry.
