I really hope that the Assassin's Creed: Liberation Vita Bundle is ~$300. I really want a Vita but the price plus the price of a single game and the memory sticks is just too much.

Every Civ game from my memory (3, 4, and now 5) were like this. The initial release was somewhat lacking compared to the final version of the previous release, but after a few patches and two expansions the new game rose above the previous one.

I mostly skipped over Civ4 for many reasons. I disliked the religion system, it wasn't aesthetically pleasing, Espionage was awful compared to Civ3... and my PC at the time could barely run it.

SG-1 patch on the desk. Automatic win.

I bought this game a few years ago on the PS3. I just recently built a gaming PC so I hope this goes on sale on Steam this summer so I can get it for that too.

Holy uncanny valley Batman!

"Consoles are platforms that, because of their simplicity, appeal to the lowest common denominator. All these unimaginative sequels are the fault of the people who buy and sell console games, to be honest. The only French who hate Americans are Parisians.

Looks at DayZ.

If the Assassin's Creed Bundle is >$300 I'll finally buy a Vita.

My problem with the Vita (aside from the overpriced memory) is that it is too small for my hands. Using the analog sticks cramps my thumbs. :(

IV was cartoony, fucked up Espionage, added the crappy Religion system, and lacked intense micromanagement.

The icecaps don't melt in III but you do get global warming which includes desertification and other terrain changes.

I don't know about II but in III and V you can set Civ names in the set up menu and you can name your cities whatever you want. AI cities are scripted unless you want to change the base game.

Go buy Civilization III: Complete on Steam for $4.99.

I love this show.

Maybe you just have overly large hands or are imagining it.

The way that the Dualshock sits in your hand makes the placement of an analog above the D-pad not ergonomic. The current placement of the analog sticks is ergonomic for the way that your hands wrap around the DualShock instead of just sitting in your palm like the 360 controller.

Do you know the old adage "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" ?
