If Super Smash Sony comes out on the Vita and has cross-platform online play and saving then I can see sales jumping a bit, especially around X-Mas.

Again, not the point. Flash memory is ridiculously cheap now. The only reason that the Vita cards are so expensive is that they are proprietary. I'll wait until the price on them becomes reasonable or until someone makes a MicroSD to Vita adapter.

At first I was like "meh" but after seeing that the gameplay is identical to Smash Bros I am excited. As well since they are including 3rd party characters I hope that means that Crash is in.

Smash Bros has had other imitations in the past. Most recently a Cartoon Network game that featured a bunch of Cartoon Network characters, including classics like Samurai Jack.

$20 for only 4gigs is still ludicrously expensive. This isn't 2005 anymore. 8 gigs of flash memory normally goes for around $10.
