My Dad is a big car guy. 3 of my cousins and 1 uncle were mechanics. One uncle raced stock cars. We went to the track every weekend. But I don't even own a car. I haven't for about 8 years. I live in a big city with lots of cars so it isn't like I'm not involved with cars daily.

I actually read her book when I was a pre-teen. I'd already seen the Sandy Dennis movie on TV. I remember the mood of each well, but not details.

This all started because some sanctimonious politician tried to silence the perfectly reasonable Brendon Ayanbadejo. If you beat up on the reasonable people politely trying to do the right thing, the more radical side with a louder voice will step in to push back.

I don't understand what happened. Why did the kicker assume the other guys were going to rob the woman? What did the 'robbers' yell? Isn't it bad practice to warn the person you are going to snatch a bag from by yelling at them from 10' away?

Did no one else notice he sneezed twice then bang? I know it isn't relevant but it was strange. Sneeze, Sneeze, Look, Bang.

How about hotels? Should they be required to provide a list of crimes?
