Knee pouches are a thing now? I guess we *are* in one of the tacky decades.

Great writeup!!

Who knows how much punishment she takes in training, though.

I don't think our situations quite match up, but I'm more than happy to share. We had two kids biologically and then adopted #3 and #4, who were just past the diaper stage. Thinking about adopting #5 as well. My wife is a stay-at-home mom, which helps. And don't let anyone fool you...that is a full time job!!

We've got 4 kids currently, and are thinking about adding a 5th.

What's wrong with pulling up from the corner with a pair of pliers and rolling until it is up, or (for larger rooms) until you hit seam tape?

Do these work for the Pi 2, or just on the originals?

Reminds me of Disney animation back in the 90's, back when they were all hand-drawn. A friend of mine worked there and it was just as brutal.

Science is slowly coming around to the "Eh, its all good" position.

I wonder if there is something to thinner blood pumping easier/better? The dehydration part is a bitch, though. Gotta keep your liquids and electrolytes up.

After work is the worst energy dip for me right now. I usually have to wait until after dinner to get my mojo back.

I wonder if that would respond to training? You might just need to work on improving your alco-vascular system.

I think there is still a strong place in the modern world for self-discipline, even when the rewards are seemingly geared towards independence, risk taking and self-confidence. Underlying all that, you have to produce results.

Wow, hashing looks fun.

I've done this on the treadmill as well as outside. If you are fairly comfortable on the treadmill, go for it. I never had a problem with it.

Buzzed running...its the best. At least for easy or long days. It sweats out after the first few miles, and then you are good to go.

No frills is all relative.

And that is a perfectly reasonable reaction that lots of runners have towards the treadmill. It sure is a lot more safe and convenient, though.

I filled a whole wall in my garage with a 6-level version of this. I don't remember the price, but it was crazy cheap and easy.

I had the same problem until I made a rule with myself that I couldn't watch TV unless I was running or rowing (I also have a rowing machine at home). When the urge to Netflix came up, it was an automatic reach for the running shoes and workout gear.
