It should be obvious, but there's a difference between using outdated IT tech, and using outdated tech that hurts your future job prospects. If just its IT tech, then sure suck it up and deal with it.

Ours are young, yet. We're starting a "technology bucks" thing with them where they get a certain number of tech bucks at the beginning of the week that are good for buy TV time, Xbox time, computer time, or whatever. And once they've spent them, that's it for the week.
