So god damn true it makes my head ache!

Oh Im sure theres a group that will love the changes to death, particularly among those who use Chrome a lot. Of course those people will come back to try FF for a few minutes, say "neat", and then go directly back to Chrome.
It is stated here in the comments but not in clear terms, so I linked an article below about how to know when to use the eject command. Those talking about cache writing are correct, but more practically, it is based on whether the drive is set for Quick Removal or Better Performance. By default, all drives (that I…
Lifehacker seems to be really reaching for material lately - what with cutting the top off of chip bags yesterday and now reprinting stories - gotta keep the click-through ad revenue coming even if the story is nonsense!
You guys really shouldn't have led with the cost thing. The reason to make this is not because it's cheaper than the dirt cheap instant Ramen, it's because it's better, with a happy byproduct of "oh yeah, it's also somehow even cheaper than the cheapest food on the planet." No one who buys Ramen for its cost si…
If you want to find good deal on PC parts I suggest checking out PCPartPicker.com.
This is way overblown.
As a former ramp manager at Logan International Airport, I think gruntman is, pardon the pun, blowing sh*t way out of proportion here. While the lav and potable water service panels might be within feet of each other, the same person generally does not service them. There simply isn't enough time when there is a…
No,no,no. Water just spreads the capsaicin around, exposing nerve endings that might not otherwise get affected. Either eat something fatty (remember that fat binds with oil, including chili oil), or sit there until your pain receptors saturate and the burn goes away.
For me, evernote hello do the job very well. Sadly no such feature in Google keep.
What's the matter, you hoity toity Lifehackers??? Battery acid and lye soap not good enough anymore??? Wimps.
This technique is referred to as deglazing.
Exactly hasty. Lifehacker is pretending this basic CENTURIES old cooking technique is some obscure lifehack method. I fully expect them next to run an article on how you can alter the flavor by sprinkling on this mystery dust extracted from earth called...salt!
Actually the point is that deglazing is one of the building blocks of cooking. To suggest it as a "lifehack", and that too with the title "add a little water on heat to scrape crust from pan," is just silly. Further, the name deglazing is buried at the bottom of an otherwise junk article. The title should simply be…
Congratulations Lifehacker, you just invented deglazing.
Well ... I often read Lifehacker articles but have not registered an account. Yet I'm a Pediatrician (from Europe , excuse my English). This has to be one of the worst stupidest ideas ever for multiple reasons. You're just going to end up with digestive issues in your baby. This is completely not only useless but…
Oh yeah?
Lab coats are great. They're not linty, they wash well, they can be cheap, they are richly pocketed and allow access to pant side pockets underneath. I have switched to lab coats instead of cooking aprons (sleeves protected too!).
Hi!! :)
