This is going to have just the DI 3.6, correct?
Now where can I get one of these Save the whales signs written on whaleskin?
I would just explain to him how much his precious prius pollutes by how it is made.
And now I suddenly feel the need for an impractical engine swap for my ZJ
"Apple blows.. for more than a hundred dozen reasons. "
Wawa, for those in New Jersey. They are ubiquitous and the food is just good enough (and cheap enough) in a generic sort of way.
My DD at the moment is a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited, so a new Grand Cherokee? The thing that would make the most sense for what I do would be a Cruze Eco or something, but I enjoy driving the Jeep too much for such a trade down.
You overlook that the comparison was snow, not ice. Also, on ice you're fucked regardless of what you have. Maybe chains/studded tires? Regardless, with so little drag, most things short of a tracked vehicle, regardless of drivetrain layout will slip and slide all over.
Indeed FWD>RWD, and it does help substantially, what with the weight of the engine over the drive tires. In fact, having driven FWD and RWD in snow with All-Seasons, I can safely say that, regardless of tire choice, front-engine fwd wins every time.
He's taking heat because all he can do is profess ignorance and put other people down. Who gives a flying fuck if someone wants a CUV/SUV? It's their money and if someone wants AWD who the hell are you to tell them otherwise? And it's not an opinion if he is presenting it as facts.
I've driven the last winter with RWD (old Mercedes), and I've done it on FWD (mom's Kia), and I'll be doing it this year with full time 4WD (old Jeep Grand Cherokee with an NP249 transfer case). Granted, they were all on all-seasons but I didn't have the time/money/inclination to put a full set of snows on the former…
You remember incorrectly
Better yet, Plymouth Laser
Honestly if I had just a little more money I would buy this. Today. I'm in love with everything about it.
It is indeed one of the lamer, more retarded things to come about on this year site.
That's a bit of an overreaction
For everyone bitching and moaning, it's hard to argue that the Leaf, the first mass produced, attainable, modern electric should be left off the list. While, yes, it's legacy (and that of the electric car itself) is left to the unknown, one must appreciate what it is. It is not an enthusiasts car and makes no boast of…
That sounds brilliant...just brilliant. Post some pics if/when you get finished with that
