It's a damn shame too, I wouldn't have minded if Pokemon actually grew up with it's target audience, and then had more childish spin offs.

I remember that episode from when I was kid, doesn't change the fact that Clefairy is the original fairy Pokemon.

I doubt Game Freak actually cares about the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his servants.

The difference is the value PS+ offers as opposed to Live. PS+ offers over $500 worth of games and discounts a la Steam. Live is a toll imposed by M$ to access features that you've already paid for. It exists soley to bolster their bottom line and don't provide any tangible benefits to the consumer.

You are comparing apples to oranges. That has almost ALWAYS been the standard for gaming with a PC. Don't forget a PC can be used for much more than just gaming, if the Steam servers or other servers go down you can still use your PC! If Live has an outage your shit out of luck with your $500 brick. At least the

I find it fascinating that after the consumer reaction to Sony v. Microsoft, publishers nor Microsoft want to take responsibility for this whole DRM fiasco.

Anyone else confused as to why the obvious choice *Clefairy* isn't part of that line up lol

Killer Instinct is also going to be free to play with only 1 character available, and you need to buy the rest.

Sony has NOT always had awesome commercials, never forget the original PS3 commercials, they were awful.

I've been waiting for Red Wedding references all night!

Thats what happens when you listen to industry analysts and not gaming blogs.

Probably not much, Gamespot actually had a very good article a few months ago (here) on how Nvidia didn't want to work with Sony on the price they were asking but AMD actually took the deal. Judging from this E3 looks like AMD bet on the right horse, but that's just my opinion.

Indeed, but honestly if this has been the only piece of bad news from Sony for E3, then by all other regards they hit the grand slam with games, price point, consumer rights, and a good ol' xbox jab.

It's not that you can't say that, you just can't say it in public cus well, it sounds rapey. English is funny like that. As a good friend Adam Orth once said, Deal with it.

You sir have won E3 MEME of the Year award.

You see what they did there?

You're right they don't but that's why perception is important. If MS releases a subsidized model in which you're locked in to Live for 2 years then it might look more attractive to people. Just like not many people actually pay $700 up front for their iPhone, many people might not want to pay $500 up front for the

Will there be a $599 Xbone that has a monocle on the kinect and lights my cigar?

Money. Publishers prefer to work for money.
