TressFX worked like shit on everything :D and surely it was far from optimized on nvidia drivers so it took sometime. Not sure how the batman difference has gone for amd with drivers but yeah.

the gameworks stuff works on amd as it is directcompute, nvidia does some questionable things for sure. The things do not work as good on 290x as on 780 ti when 290x has way more compute power and in terms of raw power in other areas is similar.
