it would not be a good idea at all. That is like throwing 680 (770 is only a refresh of this) with 780 they are far from each other in similarity. You could possibly sli 780 and 780 ti as they are from same mold. Kind of like 290 and 290x can be crossfired.

Nar not exclusive as it ain't physx this is more like tressfx from AMD. So it will work just fine on amd hardware unless nvidia gimps it somehow again.

do not overheart unless reference design (cause you know amd's reference design on coolers is pure crap), do not drop or skip frames (they fixed that some year a go). Consume more power for sure but 290x = 780 ti with 150$ less so it is all fine and dandy.

Yup yes, all systems are powerful enough to deliver beautiful games, and if frame rate would be thing to aim for PC then 1500$ gaming pc will run anything @ 60fps on 1080p or 1200p.

You said magical words. And I fully agree all three consoles are powerful enough to deliver beautiful games. Wii U is way more powerful then ps3 and x360 for the fact that it has 2 gigs ram alone :D

drivers are as good as Nvidia both have problems now days tho amd is better on Linux being open and all. But amd does not have the money to shell at devs like Nvidia does this gameworks is one example. Performance vise you can choose either just depends on the budget.

Watch dogs runs on 290x as good as on 780ti. It is faster on uhd and 2560x1440. .. There are some really weird articles going around where measly 770 supposedly beats 290x on uhd when in reality it would run out of vram at 2560x1440 already.

drivers have been fine for a good while now on am side. On linux and on windows. Both are pretty equal in raw performance amd is just cheaper.

Propably by not feeding the fish, and changing all the water or something stupid like that. Smaller the aquarium is harder it is to keep clean. Bigger ones with no overcrowding are easy.
