I didn't even get the old re-design despite signing up for it. Is there any way to sign up for this? I'm going to make sure to not do it as all the people I know who got the last version didn't and I did.

Awesome, thanks!

Anyone complaining about stuff like this being on Kotaku, please read the comment threads. Entertainment for hours.

Haha, that I do. Thanks for the reply though. Didn't know the second one was coming out though - when's that due?

I knew I was forgetting one, thanks for adding it on :)

I think you'd probably enjoy stuff from the "Transported into an MMO" genre that's been popular in the last couple of years. Check out Sword Art Online and Accel World.

There are actually some amazing mods for that "god-awful" PC port from 2007. That's how I originally played the game and I remember it looking better than this HD version.

I think Dreamfall is a great game that just suffered from a few failed ideas (the combat...) and what I can only assume was a limited budget and time frame. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the game and I used to spend ages running around Marcuria talking to literally every NPC. Plus revisiting all the locations

Having watched it, they really cover a very tiny portion of the game. Most of the 30 minutes is spent explaining game mechanics, new and old. There's a really cool dialogue feature which I won't explain here in case you're still wanting to leave it all a mystery.

I got it for £42 on Amazon UK (in the past month) but it was from a marketplace seller as Amazon had no stock. Any clue why this game is so hard to come by and not on the eStore??

Completely agree. I've given up playing the new FIFA games. Whenever my friends come over, I whip out FIFA 1998 and we play the indoor mode where you can score from anywhere, there's no fouls and scores are usually 20-19.

Any chance of there ever being a UK edition of this article? It would be much appreciated...

Yes. You should.

Yeah I'm doing the exact same. From watching the show I could see the bits they put in that were designed to look like gameplay so I'm looking forward to actually playing them. Plus as you said, we need to support the game so the chances of the second one being released are increased.

Really enjoyed the anime adaptation of the first game so very much looking forward to playing it on my Vita next year. If this one gets announced for the West, I think I'll skip any anime adaptation in advance because knowing the twist will make the game a little less enjoyable.

My cure is a footlong sub and a litre of Lucozade.

I don't have much to hide on my phone - I don't get my work e-mails to it so the only sensitive information is chats with my friends, so I always leave it unsecured.

Well pretty much as expected. I know I'll enjoy it because of how much I enjoyed the series, but I guess I won't be recommending it to any friends. I'll still cry bitch tears though.

Europe finally gets RE:Chain of Memories. In glorious HD. Haven't said this often in recent years, but thank you S-E.
