I've actuall seen some clips of the live action footage and it looks so much better. I think the series as a whole would suit live action better for sure.

I really had high hopes for Aku no Hana and I have no problem with the rotoscoping like a lot of people seem to, but I have to agree with you with regards to the story. I don't know if the manga is this boring but it's riduclously low staked suspense that they try to make exciting by having a pyschotic girl force the…
I actually read the first few volumes the moment after episode 5 aired. Couldn't stand waiting a week to find out what happened. Glad I did now considering that it's going to be much longer than a week.
To be honest, you don't play most single player games longer than a month anyway. I recently finished Ni no Kuni and I was loving it but I think if it had taken me much longer I would have got bored. MMORPGs just go on for too long in my opinion, but that doesn't stop me getting swept up in the initial rush.
Same here (with GW2). The original Guild Wars was the most I ever played an MMO, I was on and off with that from about 2005 onwards. The Secret World had to be my quickest infatuation ever, loved it for 2 days and haven't been back since. Got it on release as well.
Well I can't recommend it enough. Make sure to check out this guide if you're into PC building...
Will I do what I always do and get obsessed for 2 months and then never touch it again? Yup.
Can't believe they didn't announce Android 5.0.
If I were you I'd pick up a copy online and play it on the Dolphin emulator. It runs great in 1080p and there's even HD texture packs and add-ons to make the buttons look like PS3/360 ones.
The thing is, this would fit in with their current business model. They don't have to work out a new card game and come up with new cards - they can just make it look nice and shiny and sell it for £5 and any Final Fantasy fan with a smartphone is all over it. I didn't realise it until now but it'd be such an easy…
That's actually way too similar to be a coincidence. I mean shit, even the fingers are in the exact same place. I guess this is how fantasy map artists come up with ides - "Hmm, I wonder what this country would look like upside down?".
Yeah, I noticed that as I was reading. I think it's (very) loosely based on the War of the Roses, but that I can't remember if I heard that as something Martin has said or if it's pure conjecture I made up in my head.
Haha and Wolverine like healing abilities. It's such a mess. When they started singing in the last episode I literally said to myself "this is the worst anime ever" and then started laughing.
My issue with RDG is just how overly complicated the universe is. They're constantly introducing new supernatural elements without any explanation at any time. Oh the main character is randomly possessed by a really powerful spirit. Her partner can shoot invisible spirit arrows. Her friends' dead triplet hangs around…
Same, I'm kind of watching it for the same reason I stuck with the second half of Guilty Crown - it's a bit of a trainwreck and I want to see how much worse it can get.
I can't believe Valvrave is recommended here. The series brings nothing new to the table with the old "neutral nation has super mecha" story and the plot developments are just stupid.
I love physical releases, special editions and the cool extras you get with them... But with a game like this, the experience of playing it is more important than a case on my shelf - so a digital release is fine by me.
Ah, one of the lucky ones then. I had one of the original 80GB models which was the first one without the PS2 compatibility but I unfortunately blew it up a few years back and am on a slim model now. Very jealous yours is still going strong. Backwards compatibility is never going to be a priority for the companies now…
