No, he's got a point. Boston...um...has colleges, so therefore it's a college town. Only a stickler would point out that "college town" generally means "town whose major draw, employer, cultural center, etc. is a college" (and only an idiot would say that applies to Boston).

A college town is not "a city that contains a 4 year university". Also, the Red Sox have won 3 championships in the last decade, more than anyone else. At a certain point, we need to drop the "long suffering franchise" schtick. I don't necessarily oppose joyous celebrations that may cause some light property
