Agreed. I think backstories don’t always need to be explored. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel kind of did this too, putting you in control of characters that were bosses in Borderlands 2. It’s cool in some ways, but they definitely jerk a little too hard on the steering wheel at points in the story. How could they not -

I don’t get it, Valve. The Steam client is a buggy mess. It’s slow, it frequently doesn’t load pages I click on, and it hasn’t gotten significant upgrades in ages. Even the Steam mobile app is starting to fall behind.

I actually enjoy driving to work, but at one hour each way in congested traffic it really takes a toll on my happiness and free time. This area’s not even scenic.

This guy’s great - I started watching him after he was playing RE4. Not sure if it was a speedrun or anything, just a really enjoyable streamer.

Here’s what I think.

Surprisingly light penalties.

I hope they bring all these events in when the PC version releases. It wouldn’t be fair to delay the game then shut us out of these.

It’s not “sim-bye-oat”?

Kinda reminds me of when I ordered a black bean burger, thinking I would get a beef burger with beans ground into the burger patty, or maybe as a topping. Instead I received a black bean patty sandwich with no meat.

Funny you mention this, I just installed it in March and after a few weeks of not playing it, uninstalled it a few days ago.

Same here. I just spent 80 leaf tickets to get the golden fishing rod for the tourney, and I was really disappointed because I loved getting Mario furniture in Animal Crossing. Hiding it behind a giant paywall was heartbreaking.

So I went reading through your posts to see whether you’re a troll or not, you seem to have a real chip on your shoulder against Gita for some reason?

D I S G U S T I N G.

The art so far looks super shoddy. Like, Newgrounds circa 2008-level quality. Everything looks like it was transplanted from a very well-lit room into dark environments, which makes it look cheap. And what’s the character in screenshot 3 grabbing onto? In the game, that was a magnetic power to slingshot you around

Unless I’ve missed something, what could he possibly show? The footage shows the way pixels loaded in during his score run, which is the pattern from an emulator, not a legit arcade cabinet. His one witness was also found to be a liar (and wasn’t even there for it!). What could he possibly have left?

Anyone else have trouble focusing on other things while exercising? I would try watching movies or playing video games while on my own stationary bike in my home, but I’d frequently have to rewind portions or just do badly in games.

That’s fair - thank you for taking the time to explain why you like it. Maybe I’ll give it another shot one of these days.

Fun story about DA:I.

I keep hearing this, but why? I played it for a few hours and it was such a slog.

Absolutely, and tbh I’d rather they’d spend the time crafting a new narrative and instead just bring over the best parts of those games.
