The leveling in Bethesda games is well-made, but the crafting and looting tends to rub me the wrong way. It is sad today that most people cannot even imagine an RPG without grinding, crafting, looting, and side quests, but Suikoden does it. 50 hours of full-on engaging story.

Please do say that you are kidding. As we all know, over time exaggerated satire becomes essential truth, so I am unable to discern whether or not you are serious.

Hate grinding? Play Suikoden I or II! The least-grindy RPGs ever made!

Mt. Tigerwolf. My memory suck as well, but don't worry I make up for that by being a fanboy.

Not enough explosions or Product placement! 0/10

I said that I spoke no hyperbole and I meant it. I studied literature and creative writing in college and instead of causing me to dislike the games, along with many other things I once liked, I instead began to appreciate them on an even deeper level. How ajdragon feels in the end, I have no control over, all I can

In my opinion, yes. While Persona 4 is quite good, and many feel it is the better game, I think Suikoden is clearly better. Though, at a certain point, it becomes like comparing Bach to Beethoven. Well, both are brilliant.

Wonderful! Thanks again, Jason, you are our favorite sneak F@#k

There is a difference between having a "backlog" and having Suikoden II to play. I speak no hyperbole to say that it is head-and-shoulders above every other RPG ever made. Its story is brilliant, almost insulting to compare it to Game of Thrones, and is literally the finest narrative in game history. Surpassing even

Did you read the article? The gas used was chlorine, not natural gas. No hotel would have a chlorine gas line, unless they were doing chemistry experiments in the basement.

This is a PS Classics release. They are unchanged from their original PSone state.

No word on the price just yet. Though, considering the more recent releases to the US PSN, it is likely to be $10 usd. The SRM is still working on getting releases throughout the PAL regions, though.

Haha! You have no idea what you are missing out on. It is not good for its time, it is literally the finest game ever made. Clearly at least the finest narrative, with other Suikoden titles being exceptions.

"with finesse," I mean some modding skills. 2GB of vram is becoming the standard, and some 6000/500-class cards have that in GDDR5, though 1GB was more common. Really, I imagine you problems with FC4 -which are regrettable, by the way- stem more from a poor port and lazy programing than from the hardware itself. Look

Once again, publishers take advantage of system requirements to publicize their games. . . Even though these have been scaled back from the "leak," it is important to note that most System Requirement announcements are functions of marketing departments, not technical developers. Dropping stats like this will get you

Several reasons. First, do not take what I said as "rage," I assure you I meant it all in good fun, rather than in hatred. I used to work. . . with Monster Mouse on occasion back in the day, and unless their corporate structures have changed dramatically, I have little hope. Also, I am certain I am not the only person

Actually, funny you should mention it, but I do have to see it. I work in the industry and it is kind of my job. . .

I'm sorry. What part of my post were you taking seriously, now? laugh, have fun, life is too short to be a raging fanboy.

Come now, I wasn't really being serious. Lucas also was very forthcoming about his inspiration from Kurosawa, and recommended people see his films. But at the same time, I suggest people just skip the middle-man and watch Seven Samurai, Rashomon, and Hidden Fortress instead of this.
