A Xenogears remake would definitely sell. Wouldn’t have to be a big budget triple-A thing like the FF7 remake, they could do it with Bravely Second/I Am Setsuna quality graphics and be just fine (plus they could port it to everything: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, 3DS, Vita, Android, iOS)

Anyone care to tell me how companies like Xseed and Atlus can afford to localize dozens of obscure Vita waifu simulators with full unionized voice acting and turn a profit, and yet Square Enix would lose money on translating Seiken Densetsu 3, perhaps the best video game to never get an official English translation?

The NES Classic sells like hotcakes, old retro games are being scalped for boatloads of money on Ebay, and yet there are people who don’t think releasing old games would be profitable?

Seriously?

If somebody figures out how to do the game with Riley as the protagonist, they deserve a Nobel Prize.

Somebody call Molly Schuyler...

It’s already released, though. Once it’s out there it can’t be stopped.

Since Amazon doesn’t do the 20% off Prime discount on downloadable games, this would actually be pretty sweet, since I want to get the download version of Splatoon 2 and not the physical version, but I’d rather not pay $12 more for the privilege.

$20.99?

Jesus, $quare-Enix... *shakes head*

North American PSN store doesn’t have it but if you can play PS1 games you can get it for like 15 bucks.

It’d be absolutely PERFECT for Disney XD.

Why not just cut the price of the New 3DS XL to $150, like they should’ve done, I don’t know...LAST YEAR?!

Everything, huh? Oh man, I can’t wait to get Mario games on Steam!

You mean like THIS Tropical Island?

I don’t know why companies don’t take certain games that fall far short of killer app status (Lost Odyssey for Xbox 360, Bayonetta 2 for Wii U, etc) don’t license those games out for other platforms and take a cut instead of clinging to exclusivity in the vain hope that a couple thousand people will buy a system for

To anyone defending Atlus on this, go watch Jim Sterling’s video. As usual, he gets it right.

EULAs are frequently thrown out in court. In most jurisdictions they’re considered unenforceable.

People need to stop defending companies who use shitty anti-fan practices. Just because they make great games doesn’t mean you can’t criticize them. If anything, companies that make great games should be criticized MORE. Hold them to a higher standard. Otherwise, Atlas will become the next Konami/Ubisoft/Square-Enix,

“You can also try to take the fight to small claims court if you can prove some sort of financial loss.”

Best Judge Judy episode ever.

“in light of his recent personal viewpoints we have made the decision to remove JonTron’s inclusion in the game via a forthcoming content update.”

So does that mean that the first run physical copies of the game will still have his voice in them? Because if so, I’m gonna buy them all up and make a ton of money
