Yeah, Learned on a 74 Dodge Cornet. No power steering. At least by time I got it. Under pull to make it turn! Reach under your predominate arm and pull down! Remember that well. At least yours is sweeter!

To each his own, I have had the modern car (s), but still remember back to my Austin Healy Sprite and 70 MGB with more fondness. They were not fast but they were fun.

Nice car. Stock wheels? Love them.

I got to ride in a 914 for about a week. Met a Dancer in the early nineties, she was to pick me up in her Porsche. Wahoo!!!! Pretty girl and a nice car! Heaven!

It is ten degrees cooler by the ocean here. Regretfully I could not afford to stay the close anymore. Breeze coming in during the day and going out at night. AHHHHH, I do miss living next to it. Though there is a hurricane out there right now. :)

Have a nice night Dave. Nice "Talking" to ya.

You could do so. Don't really know why you would. Just keep it running and turn down the air. Getting out of the car really ain't much relief though. It is hotter in the car but hot as hell outside also and shade ain't always so easy to find. Truthfully I try to go from air-conditioned local to air-conditioned local

Most people here do not leave the car running when they are not in it. Really can think of an instance where I have seen that though I sure some have. What most are talking about here is leaving it running while you are in the car. Lets say you have five kids and it has been a long day. You stop for milk and leave the

Not really, it is still just hot as shit, though most of us prefer it to the cold. Even in the shade it is hot. Mid-day you can't sit on my shaded front porch. And if you have the AC why not use it. Most of us southerners would look at you like you were crazy to be sitting in the mid-day heat, shade or no shade.

Hell my front patio is shaded and I still have a fan on me out there! You walk out the door here and you are sweating....that fast.

Actually don't use my AC for daily driving. Two windows at 60 mph usually does it for me. But sitting still will kill you here. Google it. There is a case in neighboring Georgia where a father is being charged with murder for leaving his child in the car. It was only in the 80's.

Anyone can be an asshat. What does your photo prove?

Or this one, right?

Just checked the temp. differences. We average about five to ten degrees hotter. Also not an mountainous island surrounded by ocean breezes. It is cooler by about five degrees the closer you get to the beach here and much more bearable. But that is not a Wal-mart parking lot.

You Obviously do not live in a hot climate. Come down to South Carolina with it's 99 degrees heat and a 80% humidity and just open your windows. When the paramedics arrive you can explain why you sat in a hot ass truck, equipped with AC and did not use it, as they are trying to revive you kids. And then explain it to

Honestly, you cannot really sit in your car here without AC in the summer. Unbearable.

If I was sitting in the car myself I would probably have the engine off and just get out. I take my mother, paralyzed from the hips, shopping. It is hard for her to be taken from the car multiple times. It tires her out. So when we shop,if I stopped more then once, she will wait with the car running and the air on. I

I will give my experience from where I live. Your car/truck here (South Carolina, USA) will get murderously hot in a very short time. We can average mid to upper nineties (Fahrenheit) by early morning. Mid day with the humidity can be worse. I usually do not sit idling with my truck but then again I do not have small

The Troll is Droll.

My friend taught my by stopping in the suicide lane of a busy highway and walking away. "It's your car, drive it home!" he said, as he trucked on down the road..... Dickhead!
