What I see when I look at the Four Runner!

Well I don't know. I does look better then the Ford. I would venture to guess the stock one would be heavier and hence changed to one that is lighter.

Looks like the top opens also. I could see this as being useful, not for everyone but for certain contractors. I always thought that taking a crew cab and turning the second row into a tool storage space would be the way to go. Lots of space, locked up tight and the bed still free to use. I have a young friend who is

No.

For our next article the "Cookie Monster" will be dissecting Global Economics. "One Cookie GOOOD" is the working title. Neal Pollack will co-write.

Yeah, cause Formula One cars don't use sponsors. Mildly funny though. :)

This! my Uncle had two cars, one he left on the streets that was dinged and beaten. The other he kept in the Courtyard, protected. For trips or family outings the good Fiat. For around town the beater..... the beater was still stolen!

Love the 500! In the mid Seventies our Grandfather became tired of having all his lovely Grand-kids about as we were visiting for the whole summer. He hired a driver to take us and our mother to the American Beach which was just outside of Naples. He pulled up in a 500. Not a F**k was given. Three sisters in the back,

Same could be said to anybody not buying a Prius. You do not need anything more then the most basic vehicle to get to work. A truck is no different then any other less then fuel efficient vehicle. And the title is correct, sorry but to make the highest selling vehicle more efficient is better then making the most fuel

Churchill rocked!

NO what it states is that being such a high volume vehicle a small gas savings will be more important then a larger fuel savings in a small volume vehicle. Nothing more. And it is true. Sales volume of the Prius are staggeringly small as compared to the F-150. So it would be hard to disagree that a small savings in

Then you have misinterpreted the information.

No but you also, to quote "ASS-U-ME" that because people are driving a pick up they are playing, to quote "HE-MAN", when in truth you have no idea what they use their truck for. Not every truck is used for work, not every Subaru WRX is raced up mountain roads and not every gas guzzler is a truck. But post any info

Great....... Now I'm thinking I could have a new truck!! Thanks a lot...... Going to the Ford Web Site!

I had a Ranger, my F-150 gets better MPG then it did. I shopped the Tacoma, same MPG as my current truck.

So if the truck was a Hybrid or fully electric would you still think they are stupid?

I read fine. My payment is 300 a month and the insurance is not bad. Owning, insuring and maintaining two vehicles is more. Unless I drive a beater for DD and a beater for work. Instead I have a small payment, small insurance and so far minimal maintenance fees. My truck is a 2010 and has paid for itself already. I

So it would be better for them to buy an overpowered BMW M-whatever because, they would not save any fuel? Just because it is smaller does not mean more efficient. Any car made by AMG would, by your reasoning, have to go. All of the M-series, Audi S models, GT Mustangs or Z06 Vettes gone. Or is it just trucks you

Any car you buy will use gas. By your argument all racing should be banned. Track days a thing of the past, rallying gone! Buying a car to go around in circles with no destination in mind, just a waste of gas so you HE-MEN can act like racers. Get rid of your boat unless you fish for a living. RV? Don't be ridiculous!

Well that would go for all people driving anything other that a scooter. You don't really need that Subaru WRX STI to commute to work.
