Spot on.

TIL there was a Remembrance of Earth’s Past series being planned at Netflix. Neat!
Also TIL, Benioff and Weiss are working on. Shit!

Ah yes, everyone forgets Julia Carpenter. I think she’s the new Madame Web now.

She was officially Spider-Woman, but changed to Ghost Spider after she left Earth-65 for Earth-616.

So, we talking “Spider-Gwen” Spider-Woman or Jessica Drew Spider-Woman?

And that’s even before you get to the almighty sky blue/neon orange clash of the outfit’s color palette

No worries. That’s legit criticism. The show could stand to slow down and breathe a bit, and making Michael a little less of a focus/elevating the other characters like Detmer, Owosekun, and Rhys, would be positive changes, I think.

More like “It’s definitely not perfect, but I enjoy it. And I don’t feel the need to be an asshole to people I disagree with about it.” Move along.

100% agree. My wife who is, like me, in her early 30s had no real interest in Trek, beyond having seen the Kelvin timeline movies. Mostly because I dragged her to them, though she had seen the 2009 movie before we met. I, on the other hand, had been watching Trek my whole life. She decided to watch the premiere of

Yeah, I’m going to wait to watch it with my wife tonight.

Having just moved with a large amount of physical media... I’m leaning towards building a media server, ripping everything, and taking my collection (sans the 4k stuff) to a used movie store. I actually did get rid of all my CDs this time around (they’re all ripped to a hard drive/streamable via services I pay for),

I, for one, have enjoyed Discovery and Picard for what they are. Both have flaws, some glaring, but I’ve found a lot that I’ve liked. I look forward to checking out the first episode of Lower Decks tonight.

“Shinto-Keynesian-Libertine.” And calling himself an “expert” without even suggesting what he’s an expert of....

He must be fun at parties.

He was just on the last episode of the Newcomers: Star Wars podcast, telling some great stories about getting cast and stuff that happened during production of the prequels. He seems like a lovely dude.

Yeah, it had better side characters than Stranger Tides for sure (a shame, Ian McShance was wasted), Javier Bardem was great, and that bank robbery opening was absolutely bananas. I, for one, hope the rumors of a Karen Gillan-led psuedo-reboot are true.

Found this on the Hulu wikipedia entry.

The fact the TVs aren’t the same size and model somehow really irks me.

I believe they’re buying NBCUniversal out of their share of Hulu as well.
