You should check to make sure that there is at least some free play, otherwise it may be putting a very gentle pressure on your pilot bearing wearing it out. But as long as it has some FreePlay you're all good.

Reach under the dash and screw the master cylinder pushrod in until there is a about 1/4 inch free play. The engagement will have moved to a comfortable position about halfway to the floor. Thank me later.
