The extra 30 minute makes a movie that’s already too long, that much longer and barely impacts the plot. Making a terribly written movie slightly less terrible simply isn’t worth the extra time.

The director’s cut is so unremarkable that it adds something like 30 minutes to the film yet BARELY impacts the story, thus proving the point that the longer cut is garbage as well.
