Heeey, I said that it makes me think of the one in Rambo (green, boxy and truck). I don't really know my trucks, especially the American ones. ;) But could you educate me on what truck is used in the film (I did a quick search on 'Rambo truck', but came up empty).
I've heard another story, that initially it was a marketing trick. A guide given to tire buyers, to get them to 'wear out their tires'. After WW1 it took on a life of its own, thus becoming a separate edition that was sold instead of given away with a set of rubber.

Electric cars have a habit of being plugged in over night.
Thieves stole an electric vehicle, crashed it, survived - to be publicly electrocuted.
How would you tell a difference between 2 burning license plates. Firefighters already know how to deal with electric fires. Deal with it the same way anti aircraft personnel during ww2 dealt with aircraft, learn the shape.
Nice avant-move to a "Teslas catch fire" story.
And by saying that... it's blogged.
Latvians are competing in their machine, where the Gaz-66 is placed onto the frame members of the team's Porsche 924 Andris Grinfelds, Ricards Grinfelds and Alexander Murajs.
that steering shaft is awesome
I haven't actually, but that wide center console with it's two round air vents is quite unique.
a classic range rover
That's what I thought, just makes me feel really sleepy. Not bad, but nothing more either.
