'But it's also boring to see many, many different white women and the same black, white and Latina faces over and over again.'

Call me when there are as many of these as there are unsolicited dick pics.

1. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. If every single story here about domestic abuse or spousal murder resulted in the sort of ire MRAs lob at all women over this sort of news item, then there'd be a point to the comparison.

I can be found checking Facebook while my toddler says her first words feet away.

I'm glad someone mentioned this! Some journalists do this in published Q&As, too, even though I'm pretty sure saying 'good question' is some tactic interviewees use to endear themselves to the interviewer.

It made sense when swathes of the American population did not know their country of origin and had to settle for a whole continent (Africa). It makes zero sense when someone was literally born in, say, Kenya and has moved to America. And it make some sense for the -American, though when the United States got dibs on

It's not really laid out in this piece, but in my experience there will be denial that AI is anything but rational and neutral (ironically, these are often red flag words when it comes to discussing things like science and gender) because it was made in a lab and I love women my mother was a woman. YMMV.

It's always just seemed like blatant womb envy, to me. I mean, these guys had to invent entire religions that had males creating life just to make up for the fact that they weren't, as men, able to gestate and deliver human beings. So sad.

It's really a great example of how less is more. A similar example could have been provided using all caps, every second word underlined or italicized, etc. Great for a fourth-grade English class.

So this guy's misogynist claptrap is going to get him contacted by escorts, scam artists and (probably not but possibly) a single woman who's utterly insane. Thus confirming his warped view of the world.

He's 52 if he's a day.

Brethren? Oh sister, no!

It's yet another case where women themselves pay for a systemic problem (see also: pretty musicians). But it does seem most people calling this out aimed squarely at the people who made the list, not the women themselves (e.g. 'Oh soandso is WAY more qualified than soandso'), which is good. Which feels like progress.

It's definitely going to have to be brought about around the same time non-American feminists get more of a voice, internationally. Because I know it hurts some Americans to know this, but their own unique issues with race aren't always universal.

Yeah America can so adorable and young and not really into the whole shades of grey thing (unless it's badly written erotica). There is definitely a case to be made for the list being all white-perceived and how that might affect readers, especially casual or younger ones who are seeing just another sea of generic

Not expecting a ton of people to recognize this lovely face (and it's a bit of a spoiler, if you don't), but damn if that was the only DC comic to keep me up at night in 20 years.

Is there a way to throw in all the unpaid healthcare work women do, including childcare and elder care, that might otherwise be passed along to a paid caretaker?
