Pretty sure the critter behind George J. wearing all purple is a woman. Not a great beauty, to be sure, but the single-collar in white was emblematic of female characters, like Jane Jetson and her daughter, Judy.

More than just far-fetched ... he has been shown in the ETO, assisting Captain America against the Red Skull. I know he gets around, but to be active in both theaters is unlikely, to say the least.

Yeah, I still have the [almost] complete Age of Apocalypse series in a box somewhere. It was wonderful writing, and had some interesting twists on the characters: Dark Beast, Magneto and Rogue as husband and wife and leaders of a team that included Sabertooth and Wildchild, Sunfire and the first iteration of a

Yeah, back during the "Dark Phoenix" saga in X-Men in the 80s, Jean Grey had the "dark side" of her personality unleashed (as a result of the machinations of the Hellfire Club) and in her wilder state, found similarities and attraction to the feral side of Logan's personality, as opposed to her hero-worship love for

Crucifix is from the Latin crucis fixus, meaning [one] affixed to a cross. The "one" is any unfortunate hung from the slow execution tree, but has come to mean Esa Bin Iosef, that young rabbi who so pissed off the Pharisees a few thousand years ago and got himself tried for treason.

I agree completely.

I was curious as to how the netsuke related to the obi, or sash, and the case strap to which it is attached. I found this image.

Monsters, Jim. Monsters from the ID!

Since I live in Savannah, I concur. This is where you go if you are looking for lost nukes.

100% agree.
I was in a fairly serious m/c accident a few years ago and shattered my Bell helmet on the pavement. I suffered a separated shoulder and some kidney damage from the fall, but my brain (thankfully) was not injured, and I continue to enjoy full(ish) faculties.

Actually, I ran a newspaper (a small town weekly) from 1993-2002, and it was incredibly fun.
Also dang near killed me slap daid, as it required 7-day workweeks, and 20-hour workday schedules with no vacations for nearly a decade.

What do you mean, "I forgot the safe word."?
