Sarah Conner?

Laserbeak has been eating well?

What about my genetic ability to disperse large groups of people? This genetic anomaly, or "mutation" if you will, allows me to clear a significant amount of space around myself and therefore monopolize the keg at frat parties, find seating on crowded buses and stride across a subway station during rush hour like it

Here's the latest trailer for Seth Rogen and James Franco's apocalyptic, star-stuffed comedy.

Wow, Seth "Green Hornet" Rogen and James "Zardoz" Franco together in one movie? How much "Shit on my childhood memories" can I stand in one filum?

Well done, Small Dark. Nice redact of a classic to fit the meme.

FESTIVAL!! FESTIVAL!!

Spock's dream ... a bald sex addict in repose.

Excellent piece, but I question whether some of these movies are vapid unintentionally or if they were meant to be as silly or confusing as they ended up.

So obvious who will win.

I agree that the film makers probably think that, but I don't understand it at all, myself. I mean, look at this clip! Almost 60 years old (made in 1954) and it still gripping.

This is probably the most accurate depiction of how a light-saber duel would look.

I found myself actually shouting at Andrea as she paused to chat with the dying Milton, and then pauses some more to stare at his slowly dying body, and the pauses again to wonder if he's dead yet, and then ...

Well, he is a doggy, after all ...

The same might be said for the non-alternate bible.

Condolences.

When did you last read it?
I read it as a youth and I, too, thought it was unbearably dry.
I re-read it in my 40s, and it read like an alternative bible ... still not too heavy on the dialog, but the subtext was amazing. Warrior elves slaying armies of Balrogs, Dragons decimating continents, Demon Gods striding oceans

Not sci-fi, but alt/fringe history, the Niccolo Saga by Dorothy Dunnett is a fascinating read, full of the intrigues of the Turks, the Borgias, the Scotts and Portuguese in the Fifteenth Century.

My cocaine, as the saying goes.

To be fair, the button did say "dEtonAtE" which is probably way more effective than an ordinary "detonate" button would be.
