So it began.

"they actually captured Kristen Stewart's facial expression"

Flipper jumped the shark lots of times, in 1964!

Sillies.

Precisely, precious.

Well, how about we call it Mycroft and never use the diminutive. I have always suspected that Manny's over-familiarity with that unit is what caused the anomolous personality to develop in the first place.

That's the trouble with you Canadarians, no sense of style.

The snakes ate the birds that used to eat the spiders. Claro?

In fact, I would argue that they NEED to include lots of supers.

Sounds like Berserkers to me.

I have only one thing to say: Nubnub.

Yes, and the first book completes an arc of all the characters (and the Slammers unit) that later books fill in.

I see it now, but on my first read-through, the italics portion (Runners-Up list) was not rendered. Wonders of technology.

I would like to add in David Drake's "Hammer's Slammers" series of novels about space tankers that is a largely autobiographical fictionalization of his experiences in Viet Nam. Ripping good action, realistic dialog and a wonderful technology (Power Guns and Hovertanks!).

"Darth Vader betrayed and murdered your father."

Second that (or fifth it, or whatever)! All of the stories were spectacular and choosing one to vote for was difficult for me.
