Thanks for this comment. I'm honestly appalled (yet not surprised) by how many people are going "but she handled it wrong!" The same people would probably be calling her a bitch if she'd told him to fuck off.

I'm sorry a photographer-retoucher hitman team murdered your family and sent you down this dark path of vengeance, but it's not too late to turn back.

Lift!

This is an amazing comment. Well said. If I could like it a thousand times I would.

Ok? He also ruined River Song as a character, made a mess of Irene Adler, wrote one of the most boring companions I have ever had the displeasure of watching (Clara, who is only saved by the actress' ability to add charm to a piece of cardboard), and made the last two seasons of Doctor Who boring and unimaginative. He

Yeah there apparently was. The link I added sheds a bit of light on the drama. I was a bit upset when he left, because he was so good as the Doctor.

I don't think he was supposed to be in the Christmas special, but he was initially rumoured to be in the 50th anniversary episode. There were talks going on, but in the end he declined. Apparently his exit from DW involved a great deal of tension with certain executives (who I've heard aren't working on the show

People get irrationally defensive about their fandom, I guess. I like BBC Sherlock (in parts) and Doctor Who (in parts) but I don't understand the rage directed at people who point out problems with both shows that need to be addressed. I consider myself a fan of both, and part of my fan experience is the ability to

Haha don't worry about that. You seem plenty calm to me. :)

I do watch Doctor Who and I enjoyed some of it immensely. That being said, I noticed an intense downward spiral in the quality of the show and writing after Moffat took the helm. I don't watch it as regularly, and I can't get quite the same amount of enjoyment out of it that I used to. I think he needs to stop writing

You're right. My initial reaction to that scene (and the reason I liked it on its own) was because I took it as a cute acknowledgement of the Johnlock fandom (which predates BBC Sherlock) and an acknowledgement that the relationship between John and Sherlock is open to interpretation by fans just like any other work

Thank you! I think my problem isn't that one scene (it would have been acceptable to me on its own, honestly). My problem is that one scene with every other scene where the "NO HOMO!" is played up. It happens at least once or twice per season. Season 3 has at least one of these "NO HOMO!" moments too, which annoyed

There's a scene in early Bones (I don't remember which season) where Booth completely turned me off the show. I was in law school when I re-watched the episode, which may be why I reacted the way I did, but I couldn't look at the show the same way after that. The scene was one where Booth goes to a suspect's house (he

I wish. I'm not scheduled to travel for some time. :(

Hello fellow Ottawan! It's terrible, isn't it?! It's so difficult to walk anywhere.

Yesssssssssssss

Yeah I do. I'm originally from Montreal, so I know about hills in winter/icy weather. Not fun at all. I just wish Ottawa was better than Montreal at snow removal, but this is one of the things that Montreal does better (if you can believe it). :s

I'm in Ottawa and it was in the -30 range on Friday. This morning it was +5 and raining. Of course, it rained on top of melting ice, because our sidewalks are all frozen solid, so it was a mess outside. People were using the sidewalks/roads, but were wiping out left and right. By the evening it went down to -10 so

This is so terrible. :(

I'm so happy that Rowan's verbal smackdown happened. Fitz has deserved that for the whole run of this show.
