The bindi is not just a religious symbol. It's also a cultural symbol. Even the most non-religious Hindus will still wear the bindi sometimes, depending on the circumstances.

It is sad that some people are reacting to this song as if he's the first person to ever address these issues, but isn't a positive dialogue about sexuality something to be desired, particularly when it's being put in the spotlight by so-called mainstream artists? I don't buy the idea that only people who belong to a

Don't forget our stellar collection of micro-brews.

I thought Four was supposed to be a good deal younger than Theo James (around 18 I believe). Theo James is almost 29.

Yeah the premise makes no sense and is really stupid. I enjoyed the first book, but only if I consciously ignored how dumb the premise was and focused on the character development and plot (which to be honest wasn't great either, but wasn't as stupid). I don't know if I want to continue the series, because I'm not

I thought it was amazing when she told me. That guy must have been traumatized. She told me that she hoped he remembered what happened.

There are definitely wide circles where this would be absolutely unacceptable. The huge numbers of men and women who are absolutely outraged speak to that, and I'm sure none of them are bragging about sexual assault to each other.

I think that's certainly the case some times, but it isn't always. Obviously it isn't a perfect system, and the prevalence of beatings isn't a good thing, but at least they aren't looking the other way or sanctioning the assaults. The intense protests against the prevalence of rape and sexual assault and the lack of

I hope that's not the case, because it reinforces outdated ideas of how women should behave.

"Police have already arrested a suspect in the attack who named and identified the remaining four attackers. In addition, sketches of the suspects have been released, and Mumbai police officers have detained and questioned as many as twenty men so far."

Yeah I heard that too. Apparently the most "in-demand" hair is thick, long, and black hair. There's supposed to be a whole black market centered around it.

Oh no, but those aren't "false alarms", right? They're legitimate screams. Screams of pain are a sign of weakness, and need to be shut down.

I feel like there's a special place in hell for people like this...I wonder if it's only done for childbirth. For example, would they also charge someone a "screaming fee" if they were setting a broken bone or something?

I think causing a leak on someone else's floor is actually worse though, right? Then you have to deal with their rage.

That's even better. :D

One tampon may or may not clog the pipes, but if you do it more than once, the build-up definitely can. There's also no real way to tell that you have a major issue forming until the waterfall from your pipes and giant puddle appears on your floor. By then, it's too late. :(

It's really sweet that he tried to defend you though, and the outcome must have been hilarious, although mortifying (I would have been too in that situation). I would have paid money to see the landlord's face...

Ugh, I'm sorry to read that that happened. :(

Do not flush tampons down the toilet. It can clog the pipes, and cause water damage because of leaks. It's definitely gross and unpleasant to do, but wrap it up and toss it in the trash. Toilets aren't really made to deal with tampons.

I wish it surprised me, but it's easier for them to think that people from non-"Western" countries want to be like them, then think that maybe these societies just developed these unhealthy ideals and tools to achieve them, because of a multitude of factors.
