But if you’re a grown adult you’ve had like 6-7 years to prepare for making the jump, rinse and repeat for next console cycle. Absolutely. Some people just aren’t good and may rely on really basic tactics that they feel work. They shouldn’t be punished just because their opponent isn’t good enough to know how to counter that.

On one hand, you make a good point, as it’s a swarm of people all ‘together’ yet individually isolated, staring at their cell phones, which is more of the same, ramped up.

while people are free to play games at any hour, some basic decency and respect for others isn’t a lot to ask for. work/education is far more important. I’d be pissed if I were deprived sleep for weeks because of people playing video games, so I don’t blame them at all.

Sucks for sure. First thing I thought of when this came out. But the reality is there’s some things some people can do and some things people can’t do. I’m sure football and baseball is depressing too.
