I’ve been an Xbox guy since the original one 16 years ago, but this year I finally picked up a PS4. Horizon, NieR, Persona 5 and The Show (as well as some indies) were too much. I don’t pick up my Xbox much, unless it’s for EA stuff or PUBG this week.

Horizon Zero Dawn’s use of the touchpad to bring up your HUD was brilliant. Not sure if other games used the same system previously, but that was my first time with it and it made the game much more immersive.

I don’t really watch streams and have no interest in going to a live competition, but I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. It made a lot of sense and you hit on the key, it would seem, as the team vs. individual structure. Good story.
