Star Trek Voyager felt like it should have been a video game rather than show. Holodeck episodes, Harry's Time Travel, Time travel episodes could have been explained as DLC.

The GTA series is a major victim of review scores. People go nuts for the series but ignore major flaws, the inability to swim in GTA3 and VC, supply run and the middles lands in GTA3:SA, the freaking over drama in GTA4 being held back by gimmicks.
