So true, sadly. I even posted with moderate success on oppo and still it happened to me.
You would not NEED to change the fenders, just relocate the intercoolers. Narrow body GT3s have been boosted before
you can run a turbo'd metzger motor on narrow bodied cars, you just relocate the intercoolers above the motor. The GT3 has the same motor
It's definitely not someone's babied garage queen. Looks to be on a MaxPerf compound tire like R888 or similar. It's fine to drive your car hard, I certainly do, but it's important that it be maintained properly. That fact alone should weigh heavily in buying a salvaged supercar.
It's a killer buy. Anyone familiar with GT1 block cars will sneeze at the mileage, though its more likely to see its way into a rebuild at that age. Maybe Sharkwerks 4L. Sucks the interior is gray. I'm still trying to un-gray my interior, since that color really makes the 996 look dated.
Rough world, isnt it. I've been lingering for just about as long.
700 at the wheels? I'm in the middle of shooting for 600, but I'm also trying to ditch a ton of weight, widen the front track, and tame that rear end. Ultimately I'd love a Spoolbus/king kong style build but I've seen how often those two cars break and I'm not ready for that.
It has a gt2 bumper, techart sideskirts, a gt2 replica addon to the stock wing. but the inside gives it awy instantly.
i said the same thing :) but the Alzen Turbo came to mind too
It's not stock. 996 Turbos had the eggshape and the Turbo S/GT2 had the overlapping circles
Speedlines. Terrible loss
As a current 996TT owner, this pains me to see, but at first glance I can tell you this was a modified car, at least cosmetically, so it may have been driven hard. Depending on the condition of the motor and transmission, though, it could be worth it's full sale cost just in those pieces alone. 6MT+Metzger combos will…
yes. yes they are
345 still?
My 996 has 335s, so its not unbelievable.
My 996 is currently being repainted this color. Much love for it
RWB over Singer? Or Magnus Walker? i love Nakai's cleaner, original work, but he's selling out, and he caters to a less enthusiast, more attention-seeking crowd these days.
That's beyond a steal. Cabrio or Tip? That's barely more than I paid for mine with 30k more miles.
