This is a fair point.  My family lived in NJ at the time, so the trip to AC was not a large undertaking.  If it involves travel, don’t go.

My sister is getting married. Her fiancée is having a bachelor party. He’s a good guy, but we literally have nothing in common besides my sister. I’m not friends with his friends. I’d have to miss a day of work. Am I obliged to go?

He doesn’t owe us an explanation.

Hmmm, I don’t know.  Can’t make up my mind unless I know if more people ate this travesty or the salad.

Hmm . . . two firsts, cap space, and a second-year pg is starting to look better, huh?

I mean, it’s basically 4 identical blogs in the last 24 hours.

Seriously, is every member of the office working on a take here?  Burneko?  Drew?  Barry? Samer?  That one soccer guy?  I’m waiting.

I’m a Knicks fan who liked the pick on draft night and is sorry to see him go and thinks this move had to be made AND the return isn’t nearly as bad as people are acting.

It’s definitely easier to convince two superstars to come together than to convince one to come join an injury-prone 7-footer with a career 7 rpg average who won’t sign long term. Look, man, I know I’m Charlie Brown and they’re Lucy with the football, but Scott Perry is calling the shots now, and he wasn’t around when basically any of the moves you mention were made. I actually do trust there’s a bit of a plan — swing big to hope to get 2 of Kevin, Kyrie, Kawhi, and Klay (which I fully do not

Just trying to process here:

Welcome back, Drew.

Yeah, a NYE wedding sounds dope as hell (if it’s, like, a friend’s wedding, and not a cousin’s wedding). Not having to make plans makes it worth it on its own.

January is one of the least popular wedding months

When I was a kid, my mom made a baked mac & cheese that consisted of cooked rigatoni layered with american cheese and soaked in skim milk. Do I recognize now that this was not, in fact, legitimate mac & cheese? Of course. Did that stop me from loving it as a kid? It sure as hell did not!

Please cross-file this to “LOLMets.”

I would have given you a star if you’d gone with Laurel.
