Can’t take credit for the line — I’m pretty sure it’s from the Ken Burns documentary series Baseball. The first episode or two are a bit slow, but once it gets going it’s fascinating and charming. It really opened my eyes to the history and beauty of a game which until that point I’d always found kind of boring.

Because baseball is an odd historical (and wonderful) mix of a gentlemen’s and a scoundrel’s game. A play like this is deceitful. But it’s also intelligent. It can be admired for its trickery, or its craftiness — which are really two sides of the same coin.

What are these from?

A seven-year gap between major league appearances isn’t exactly common. But when it does happen, there is usually something specific to answer why—there is usually a serious injury, or decision to walk away from the game that is ultimately reversed, or some other such circumstance that forces some of that time out.

It’s a way to stay in shape in the summer while also doing something for the community. The original aim of the Drew League was pretty similar to that of what was started in Rucker Park in the early 1950s. They gave a place for local talent to play (older) high level competition while encouraging them to see athletics

Has anyone considered that Brazilian players jerking people off might be a solution to the country’s abandoned stadium woes?

That wasn’t my point. Of course TT’s deal was ludicrous — in the first year it cost the team $64 million. I was responding to the idea that the Cavs payroll is indicative that Gilbert isn’t cheap. So my point was it’s not, because the money Gilbert is spending is driven by the leverage Lebron is applying.

But in fact he IS cheap when it comes to the roster. Gilbert had Griffin wait until training camp a couple of years ago before relenting on re-signing Tristan Thompson because of the luxury tax implications. Lebron forces his hand by only signing 1+1 deals, with the second year a player option. If Gilbert doesn’t pony

The biological component is correctly accounted for here, but these studies fail to consider the external vectors which can affect (and block) the liquidification process. One study found a strong correlaton between the increased use of use of lemon-scented cleaners and pipe blockages, with a surprising connection to

Therefore it’s a problem that any good business should seek to reduce. A high rate of injury suggests a “defect” in the production process. Tesla’s assertion that
