What the hell kind of track day (bro) event lets participants go without helmets? I’m more shocked by the lack of any kind of safety equipment than this guy’s egregious runoff.

Is “brake failure” the new “tire pressure was 2psi off?”

“Some kinda brake failure”

Came for some 1%er carnage. Left disappointed...

I found a gif of the driver as a kid.

“You can’t panic in that situation...” Yeah bro, you’re a Boss! WTF? And what track allows a track day where participants can dress like that and go out without helmets?

It’s confusing because so often a brake failure can look like a normally operating dipshit.

I half expected an Affliction t-shirt.

It’s like it just kept rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ rollin’

Life comes at you fast...and reality hits you hard, BRO, YOU CAN’T PANIC IN THAT SITUATION, YOU JUST GOTTA LOOK AROUND AND SAY “WHAT AM I GONNA DO?!?”

I was completely ready to give the guy credit for going straight off instead of trying to hero a recovery out of that. Then he got out of the car.

Wreck me like a Huracan!

I totally agree. It makes me forgive them for the Cayenne.

Speaking as someone who makes around 200 gross, I can not afford this car. Then again, I live in one of the most expensive cities in America, and I’m saving for my future.

A Panamera is going to take a big hit in depreciation right off the lot. So let’s say you buy a $110,000 4S ($10k in options). In order to try and stay right side up on a loan (so you can dump the car in an emergency), you would probably need to put $25,000 as a down payment. 5 year loan for $85,000 with great credit

I’ve done a bit of looking into this in preperation for a recent purchase.
Good rules of thumb and they hold up in my previous car ownership experiences.

Method 1: Housing + Car + Debt < 50% of NET monthly salary
-Alternatively 35% of gross.
Method 2: Car < 10% of GROSS monthly salary
Method 3: Full purchase price <

Having driven my parents’ S7 many times, it just isn’t that good to drive. My GTI and BMW are light years more entertaining. I found my self bored in the Audi. It is entirely possible though that I am not in the demographic for that cat however.

It’s a REALLY nice car though. They seriously hit a home run with this thing, and I hate modern cars in general.

VAG would never let a Porsche be cheaper than the Audi.
