I'm a frilly kind of gal with conventional female looks, and I often get told that I'm a guy in a woman's body, which is intended as a compliment. I think it's because I have Asperger's, which has been defined as "extreme male brain" by some, therefore seeming even stranger in a woman. I don't know if I'm a "cool

Yes, but a) marriage has nothing to do with it and b) Actual biblical sex is pretty damn kinky and involves mistresses and lot's of stuff that will absolutely get you an STI. So... his science is right but his religion is wrong, surprisingly.

I understand the desire to hate the guy but he didn't say anything wrong. The delivery was poor but what is actually "nonsensical" about it?

Biblical sex, ie. between a male virgin and female virgin who are monogamous...Will probably not have STDs. I mean, how?

Yeah I totally didn't just share this video on Facebook saying "Gentlemen, take notes." Nope.

I just laughed myself to tears. omg.

I can't believe this guy HAS a girlfriend. God bless her.

"even on holiday. EVEN on holiday."

I hope to god this was self published...

What did I just read.

Ugh. The thing I hate most is that tone that seems to say "Look, this guy is a HERO because he's not raping an unconscious woman." He clearly knows that's some fucked up shit AND wants credit for not being a rapist. All while clearly keeping someone that needs help, helpless.

"Reality slips like silk across a tender thigh, dipping in and out of wet shadows."

What in the fuck sort of a sentence is this? I hate it. Hate.

Right? You can totally write books about creeps and not be a creep (I love Lolita and Vladimir Nabokov was only a little bit creepy) but nothing about the summary - or the dude's Flavorwire interview - gives the impression that we're dealing with another Nabokov. Sounds a lot like we're dealing with a creep who thinks

Of course it sounds bad when you put it like that.

Did you read the first review...? I'll bet every dime in my bank account that he wrote it himself.

Let me see if I've got this straight: This novel is about how this guy finds an unconcious chick in an alleyway and, instead of bringing her to a hospital, he decides to nurse his "patient" back to health and finds that he needs to seek out dangerous sexual encounters in order to keep himself from raping her

Aw, I think I dated that guy.
