I have no idea. Is it like an ego thing? “This was MY dress. I will be the ONLY one to wear it?” Or just incredibly wasteful, like we can care about conservation & reusing/recycling/upcycling all the time, but not for weddings because they’re sacred?

Let me first of all note that I’m biased, as a swimmer who hates these kinds of things. (Except when the wedding is called off, in which case I think they must be amazingly cathartic.)

I’m not sure about the writing - her twitter feed hasn’t been updated since November (https://twitter.com/sabrinarerdely) and I couldn’t find anything else recent. But she certainly doesn’t seem that repentant. The last tweet wasn’t even a blanket apology, just a link to a story about herself.

The woman she thought had survived sexual assault when she apparently bullied her to go through with the story. Whether or not it was true, the fact that Erdley thought it was and still pressured her makes anything else she did that much worse IMHO.
