I might have once drunkenly told my bf that if he asked my mother's permission before asking me to marry him, the answer would be an immediate "no" because clearly he does not understand me.

Agreed! My favorite movie proposal was definitely the one from About Time.
Ugh. No way.
Not going to lie...this is what happens when "people" become "cases" or "subjects" and "feedback" becomes "variables" or "data." Some analyst who works for him probably thought this would be a good idea, because of the mantra that availability of data is always good, and no one bothered to translate those emails back…
Cool story, bro. Does that mean I can start using the n-word from a queer perspective?
I agree completely - I'm all for gender neutral bathrooms in public.
I'm gonna go ahead and label this in my head as "lead up to a Supernatural episode."
When I see a man drinking beer,

At least Ghengy there is honest about their reasoning...no hypocritical moralizing or public health concerns when they're only interested in keeping their names clean so they can keep profitable.
Skater formal wear. I want this again.
Wow. I'm an institutional research professional at a university. It's literally my job to use student data to report to federal agencies, do studies on student programs, etc., and keep everything ethical. Ethics is SO important to data management.
That's lovely!
Thanks! Good advice - I'll definitely be sure to consider my bff who just got married. Maybe she'll know how to keep everyone else in line. :)
so PhD: Piled High & Deep?
