The time is probably the biggest part of it all. I’ve had other gigs where taking a few days to do this would have felt impossible.

Wheres the snowpiercer reference when you need it?
Wait, am I expected to do this every year?
Oh god, my life is ruined.
Hmmmmm. Interesting...
I’m another Michigander here to sound off. Given what I see on the roads every day in Metro Detroit I’m all for inspections of these “silent killers”. Unfortunately, it does become an issue of regressive taxation and jeopardizes freedom of movement.
My main concern with these inspections is that the potential for abuse is HUGE! We all have heard the line when getting tires.
Hey, what’s that supposed to mean?
Can’t do it. I have an addictive personality and I WILL end up like David Tracy.
Socialism is not the prerogative of those who have just escaped from bondage, but of those who have already taken possession of their future.
Never understood the hate for these. 240hp in a light frame isn’t bad. Sure, it’s not a modern 500hp beast, but neither was anything else in the 70s. And look at it! I am one who thinks these have always looked good, even when they weren’t fashionable and they are just getting better.
Oh snap! Was weinermobile monthly a real thing? I’m not sure if I want you to say yes or no. I’d better stay in the grays.
Can’t fight big weiner lobbyist I guess.
Big van on campus?
Hi Rory, just a few questions:
Awesome. Can’t wait!
Hey, you. I know of this Lada. I have some good bad ideas of my own. What are the best resources you’ve found for running a car that’s super-rare in the U.S.?
These past few years it seems to be a rise in car sharing platforms and mobile ride hailing. And the tech bros are now pushing toward electric cars and automation. What do you as see in the future for where these things are heading? Recently there has been in a rise in offroad/adventure cars- what do you predict will…
Will you ban all of your writers from using the typical car review cliches like plastic fantastic, slush box, etc? I don’t know that they have in the past, but when I see them in any car review, it makes me want to stop reading.
What do you think of Pete Stout’s new efforts - 000 - in the landscape of automotive journalism?
This is really neat.
