How cruel it is, to reopen these old wounds.
How cruel it is, to reopen these old wounds.
Fuck that, this shit's hilarious! Totally the kind of humor my friends, family and I enjoy. My sister and I cosplay as people from the '80s all the time, and we carry around big cell phones and cut lines of (fake) blow on the cafeteria tables at cons.
We in the economics field call that spontaneous order.
I blame everything on George Broussard.
A problem I see here is with people just assuming that Quiet is "a soldier". Why the fuck is that for sure? Who the fuck knows what she is and why she's running around with a gun. She could be fucking anybody and have any reason for being there. She could be a transgendered voodoo witch from space. It's a Metal Gear…
If you know about the footage that they showed at Comic-Con, then you understand that this trailer isn't necessarily indicative of the finished production, and is more just for the masses.
It's almost like a video game version of a "women-in-prison" exploitation film.
So I guess that means I'm in.
Metal Gear Solid 2 came really close to essentially being a game about 9/11. It still covers a lot of the same stuff, but a few more on-the-nose scenes were cut from it.
I wish more games would find a way to explore tragedies, so I'm down for this.
That's not humor.
Kotaku comes to the aid of the oppressed and struggling minorities of the world yet again, with cutting-edge investigatory journalism, to bring to light obscure comments on the internet and give these no-good, privileged, white males a lesson! Thank heavens! /sarcasm
That being said, these people are really insecure…
I feel like this video is definitely relevant to the discussion:
I've actually seen people doing that.
No joke.
Seriously, I had to put the controller down and go stare at myself in a mirror for minute or two after that. I felt like I had just come back from 'Nam and shit.
Have Half-Life 3!?
Oh, no? Aww, okay...
Holy shit, so many memories of schoolyard conversations just flooded my mind.
FFXV is going to be the decider for me. If it sucks, I'm abandoning the series. I already kinda did. Last FF I played was X, which I still consider to be very good and, in some ways, underrated and criminally derided. (I also played X2 also, but I really can't consider it a big part of the overall series. Plus, it's…
Listening to this always gives me a panic-attack. The flashbacks to my chilhood are vivid.
But one must remember: It's not crazy if it's true.
Okay, so you didn't read the article and you're bigoted towards opinions that aren't your own. We got two confirmed. Cool.
You're drastically misrepresenting the writer's position. That's what we in the biz call a "strawman fallacy". He's not just saying that the visuals are good, he's saying that the visuals are…
So there are a couple possibilities here: You didn't read the whole article, you're just a troll, or your a bit of a bigot. Combination of all three is also possible.
