It's interesting to see how design's shifted over the decades when it comes to science fiction. Obviously it's in part to do with technology and how risk-averse execs are feeling on a given day, but if you look at the trend of stuff it's fascinating to see just WHAT people have loved over the years, and how we view it

All of these are now wallpapers for me. ALL OF THESE

I like it! Though, uh, they should have checked those pajamas before using them on camera...vertical lines make digital cameras go "ffffffffuuuuuu——"

To be fair, "realistically" Aliens, Power Armor, Norse Gods, Super Soldiers and Gamma-Irradiated monsters don't exist. Which leaves us with two badasses in the form of a superspy and the world's best archer.

It seemed to be based on a lot of things. >.>

I was hoping it might be a Go-Karting game.

Scream vile things at it and swear to kill it later on. That's what always gets me through. >.>

I mean, at least that's MEAT, ya know? We took an unholy-yet-delicious combination of chemicals and made them even more unholy-yet-delicious. Who does that?!

It is a system that doesn't make sense on the surface, and I've read back-and-forth arguments as to why it should be overhauled or not, so I don't think I've made my mind up on it. I do believe though that acting like someone's vote "doesn't count" is less likely to get them to the polls and have them make decisions

Or you could vote for the Presidential Race AND the local races, because you've got a right to, and it will count for the popular vote, which is not as insignificant as people make it out to be.

I mean, what with SyFy pumping that new show Defiance (is it Defiance?) out this year, it feels like they didn't want to take any focus away from that, and wanted a place to put this pilot out without letting it go to waste. All signs indicate this thing's been "done" ish since earlier this year, I guess they were

As a big fan of the series, your post excites me for tomorrow. Thanks for sharing!

This actually managed to make my day a little happier. >.>

I'm just gonna throw this out there—-I feel bad for the Chief. He wins the Human-Covenant War AND stops the Flood in one fell swoop, and then doesn't get to enjoy any of the peacetime benefits of it. He goes to sleep, wakes up, and his ship is literally falling apart. Dude does NOT get a break.

The federal government has been funding so-called "Crappy indie stuff" since 1934, when as part of the New Deal—-you know, that thing that helped bring the economy back from the Great Depression—-they began publicly funding over 15,000 works of art in just six months. And even then, like other commentators have

"Especially this gen developers show no real effort in making real good games anymore and that was even before all the piracy hit this gen really hard."

What do you hear Starbuck?

That video is my life. >.> And I feel terrible about it.

I am a chicken and a coward. When I was a kid I went to a haunted house-path-thing in the woods I lived in for a friend's halloween party. Basically the "haunted" part of the event was walking up to an old, abandoned-ish shack and having the dad/uncle of the friend (who I barely remember, come to think of it), who
