I thought most EVs use the seat sensor as a backup? If you’re in drive and leave the car, it automatically goes into Park. Maybe they can add this as an OTA?

Need to see the contract between them and Magna to know who’s at fault. Magna offers a lot of internal components, but Fisker supposedly used their own engineers and tech here
over-engineered would be having the infotainment screen + another screen for specific tasks + physical controls for redundancy + a dial wheel controller for people who don’t like touching the screen.

I like the P2 but the interior is so cramped. I’d rather have a softer, more practical C40 / XC40 Recharge

Seats are one of the few parts I wouldn’t want to cheap out on; it’s literally the 1 component you spend the most time experiencing, besides the steering wheel (which I also wouldn’t want to cheap out on).
