Jamming 3 different types of tech inside a 4 cyl engine. What could go wrong?!

over-engineered would be having the infotainment screen + another screen for specific tasks + physical controls for redundancy + a dial wheel controller for people who don’t like touching the screen.

That’s not an engine, that’s a Rube Goldberg machine

How else are they going to get me to view the 1,000 ads currently taking up my screen?!

Download Gemini on the app store, and it’ll walk you through the setup.

It’s so terrifying it’s actually kind of hilarious

My friend traded in his Model 3 for a Polestar and his rates were cut in half.

The P2 and XC40 were originally released by Volvo as concept siblings. Around the same time, Polestar spun off on its own and they had the Polestar 1 but needed a new model, fast. So Volvo got the XC40 and Polestar got the 2.

I like the P2 but the interior is so cramped. I’d rather have a softer, more practical C40 / XC40 Recharge

I love the S60 but wouldn’t touch a used Recharge or T8. Hopefully you got a nice aftermarket warranty

Seats are one of the few parts I wouldn’t want to cheap out on; it’s literally the 1 component you spend the most time experiencing, besides the steering wheel (which I also wouldn’t want to cheap out on).

I lost all faith when I watched this video

How bout now?

Smart/Mercedes/Geely called, they want their car back

Remember when Airpods came out and everyone said no one would pay $200 for dorky earbuds that look like spunk? Now look at us... 😢

I can’t wait to watch Sean Cody in my bean screen while being chauffeured by my Frigidaire 🥰

It’s minor and mundane, but welcome to the modern world full of regulations. If you start letting 1 manufacturer slip by, then it becomes a snowball effect and others will start cutting corners too. If 3.2mm is the font limit, then so be it. It’s ultimately a good thing, especially for customers, and keeps

No you’re right, when it first launched it was lease only with the possibility of buying at the end - but was never promised (I assume Polestar/Volvo wanted the ability to buy them back to assess how they aged?). Either way, they ended up allowing owners to buy them at the end. You can buy them used now directly from

I thought Volvo bought back their majority share from Geely a year or two ago, and besides platform/engineer sharing, operate independently?
