I hope they do this with Polestar 2 soon! I'd grab one of those for $25k in a heartbeat

Looks alright, but would rather have a proper Taycan Gran Turismo, or wait for the Polestar 5
I tried to rent a Polestar 1 from Hertz and was denied when I showed up because they only rent supercars to tourists, for fear of locals taking them to chop shops
What’s it like once you stop taking it? Do you bounce back, or does the weight stay off (with exercise+diet)?
I saw the photo, didn’t even read the article, and that was my first thought lol
Curious to see how renting a car from Turo for a few months would compare to a short lease, which likely has a high down payment. Sort of like how people rent an Airbnb long-term.
I’m assuming the 6mo used cars will just be turned around and sold to Hertz, who have a lot of Polestars on their lots.
Guessing this will be China only? Fine by me, the S90 was the weakest design in Volvo’s lineup
I see both your point of views. There’s a lot of interesting engineering aspects that I can appreciate in a vacuum and geek out on, but as a whole I think the truck fails its core purpose and got lost in its own hype. Luckily the CT is a test bed for future Tesla technology, so hopefully it wasn't a complete waste and…
I work in QC and product development, and this is why I could never work in the auto industry. I can’t imagine shipping a product and having to worry about it being recalled 23 years later. Seems something always creeps up to bite you in the ass
There's plenty of evidence in the video if you just clicked play...
When one of the most chill countries is giving you hell, then you know you’re doing something wrong
This isn’t the MG we care about. the MG 4 aced the crash test, bring that over!
Wow, I guess money really does buy taste.........
That dude has been doing this for years, I think this is his 4th or 5th year now.
ADAB!
Maybe CarPlay is different, but with Android Auto the performance is entirely based on your phone. I’m sure the infotainment handles some aspects, but for the most part it simply acts as a display out.
I wonder if they’re doing this to prevent the pending updates from Android Auto/Carplay that integrate completely with your car. I could see that being a security issue, but at the same time I trust Google and Apple software developers more so than GM.
You can’t compare a single personal car’s experience to a fleet.
