Again, all subjective. A plain black tee from H&M for $10 and one from Rick Owens for $100 might look alike from afar, but the quality and craftsmanship are miles apart. Or you can throw paint on a canvas and call yourself Jackson Pollock, but it won’t make you an artist.

I love the XC60 but I wouldn’t touch a used T8. Supercharger, Turbocharger, Electric, luxury European... What could possibly go wrong?!

It’s all subjective, but no doubt this thing is screwed together well, has soft touch parts everywhere, is silent inside, solid to drive and not to mention the insane tech and B&W stereo. It’s not “luxury” in the same sense as a Merc or Jag, but modern industrial design can definitely be luxurious; different strokes

We’re talking luxury SUV here, be real. Just about every decently optioned generic X6/GLE/Cayenne/etc averages 80-90k. They aren’t direct Polestar competitors, but the price and features are on par - ridiculously expensive and overpriced nonetheless.

Not cheap, but what is nowadays? I can see this stealing X6, Cayenne and similar sales.

Tough sell considering you can get a CPO that looks the same/better for way less

Nah, The Buzz and all Busses are form following function - the short overhangs and boxy shape that allow for an immense cabin result in it looking retro like the original Bus. The PT Cruiser on the other hand was designed purely to look retro with no reasoning behind it, which is why it aged so poorly.

Jetta got the shit end of the dieselgate stick.

I don’t understand why this new crash detection is a big selling feature for Apple. Google pushed an identical feature to my Pixel a year ago via a software update.

So ya’ll just coping Doug DeMuro’s latest video now? lol

About time. I wonder if Volvo is going to keep their original promise that they’ll hold accountability for any accident that occur while driving autonomously?

China’s first electric supercar?

Everyone’s mad because a private company created something that will generate them a shit ton of money...? Call it what you will, but at least it isn’t a phoned-in rebadged Audi. They took their time to do something genuinely unique.

That’s a rendering...

I don’t understand people who think the Polestar 2 is anything other than a sedan/fastback... it’s only 1" higher than most other sedans and drives/handles nothing like a crossover. The only crossover thing about it is the XC40 platform sharing

Volvo offered exactly this for a while and I was about to sign up for it, but California eventually found a way to shut it down for illegal competition between manufacturer and dealer... 🙄

Where’s the rest of the review....? Buried in a slideshow that my adblocker is hiding?

BNSF was holding a container of ours that landed in June and it was JUST released last week. Fuck rail right now.

I did follow Sandy’s Tesla story but wouldn’t call him a fanboy. He’s still pretty critical of certain aspects and as a whole it’s in the consulting firm’s best interest to remain unbiased. If you watch his reviews of other EVs (Lucid, iX, Kia, Nio, etc) he praises them about as much as Tesla. I think he just likes

Now playing

This is interesting because Munro & Associates did a full teardown analysis of the yoke and found it to be really well engineered and high quality. Those photos tell an entirely different story...
