Structurally it’s a sound and safe car, it’s basically a roll cage on wheels.
I remember thinking those giant LED turn signals were futuristic and cool AF lol.
If they’re going to show it in this condition, at least lean into it/make a valid excuse. Say it’s the prototype used for off road validation, which would at least excuse the scuffs and beat up body work. This would also lend some credibility that it’s being put through its paces.
It seems flying is becoming less and less safe lately.
It makes great anal lube too!
Brand new? Probably a Jaguar SVR; F Pace or F Type.
Same lol. To be fair though I don’t think all Stockholm’s trains are this nice. The Arlanda Express is the train from the airport to city center, so am sure they made it extra nice to give tourists a good first impression.
The reason there isn’t more map competition is because it’s difficult. Like, really, really, really difficult. And expensive. Really, really, really expensive. If no one else is willing to do it, and Google is the only viable option, is it still considered a monopoly?
I just read it’s based on a dedicated Lotus platform, but I’m skeptical and waiting to hear from Lotus directly.
Does anyone know if this is based on Volvo’s SPA2 platform, or something else from Geely? Interested because it will give a good indication of what to expect from future Volvos and Geely’s other brands.
If they want anything relatively new and RWD then their only worthwhile option is a Dodge Charger or Cadillac ATS or CTS
The way I interpret it, Geely bought Volvo as a means to ultimately sell Chinese cars globally, and Polestar is their trojan horse.
The fact it’s a Toyota is its strongest selling point. That alone is going to make this one of the most popular options, even though the Kia, Hyundai and Nissan are better on paper.
I see 3 coffins.
This was my first question too. If the EPA did rate it with 1,000lb load, then wouldn’t they need to do the same for every other truck they test? I suspect the EPA didn’t rate it with a payload, and Ford benchmarked 300 internally with a payload knowing it would be higher once officially rated, ultimately making it…
I just got chills. I use to fly that route for work pre-covid.
